More comfy than expected
The support is great; the wide waistband really helps distribute the weight, and it doesn’t dig into my back like a traditional carrier sometimes does. My baby sits comfortably on the seat and actually seems to enjoy facing out and watching everything. I can carry him on my hip for a good 30 to 40 minutes without getting sore, which is great.The built-in pockets are surprisingly useful too. I can fit my phone, a pacifier, and even a diaper and wipes in there without needing a separate bag for quick runs. The bottle holder is a nice bonus as well. It’s super adjustable so my husband and I both use it with no problem.

Great hip carrier
Especially when your little one is outgrowing their full body baby carrier but still want to be toted around, this hip ledge carrier is a godsend. We often go out and about in the summer to festivals and farmers markets where a stroller is too much, but also our 2.5 year old doesn’t want to walk the entire time, so this is a perfect solution for when he needs to be carried. It is easy to strap on so my spouse and I can swap who’s wearing it easily, and it really relieves back pain as well as arm fatigue. I like that it has extra pockets for storage of small items too. It seems very well-made, will easily last beyond just this kid’s use – I’m sure I’ll pass it on to another parent when we’re done with it!

Helpful, but Not a Long-Term Carry Solution for Bigger Toddlers
This is a handy tool to have, but not quite the silver bullet I was hoping for. Our toddler insists on walking “all by himself”… until his legs get tired. I hoped this would be the perfect solution for those moments, but carrying a kid over 30 lbs still puts noticeable strain on my back, arms, and waist after just a few minutes.That said, it’s easy to throw on, and I love that both my husband and I can wear it comfortably without needing to adjust anything. I’d say it’s best suited for smaller or younger toddlers as a short-term backup when little legs need a break.

Not Fluffy Friendly, But Sturdy Seat
I have a parent who is now a grandparent that has a hurt back but loves to hold her grandkids, I was hoping to help ease the pain by getting this hip seat for kids. Would have worked great but the Velcro thick strap will only fit around the waist size of what seems to be the size of a highschooler but not a full grown adult.So unfortunately the only people that can actually wear this are the family members that are in the shape of twigs, the seating itself is a hard Styrofoam which is light weight but firm. There is a nice clip on the outside of the thick Velcro strap to secure it more around your waist which is a great idea. There are some pockets that you can use to put items but they are going to be snug due to them being around the strap and on the actual hard Styrofoam seat area, but there if you can use them.Wish this could fit actual size human beings, I am sure there are extra lengthening straps you could get, but the holding will have to be up to the parents until we can find a solution for my mom.

Sturdy, Comfortable, and Worth the Price
I’m 6.5 months pregnant and got this in preparation for our baby. I tested it with my 30lb dog (don’t judge!) and it held up great—much easier on the body than carrying weight unsupported.The quality is excellent for the price. The Velcro is strong, reinforced with a buckle strap that adjusts well even for petite frames. The seat is made of firm styrofoam that’s enclosed within the carrier material, with a layer of foam padding on top. It feels supportive and doesn’t feel like it will cave in or fold over itself. I plan to pair it with a sling-style carrier to keep baby secure against me while working from home and standing so I can add movement for the baby and take pressure off my back.The pockets are well thought out: the one under the seat is sizable—it could fit a Nuby, a baggie of wipes, or snacks—but it’s harder to access with baby sitting on top. There’s also a zip pocket that easily fits my iPhone 12, payment cards, and keys. Lastly, there’s a bottle holder for a baby bottle or a disposable water bottle.Only downsides: I ordered black but received grey, and the elastic loop on the buckle strap is stitched in place—it would be better if it were movable, especially for smaller waists where the strap bunches a bit.Overall, great value and comfort!

Lifesaver for lower back
This hip carrier has been so helpful with relieving stress from my lower back. My little one loves being carried all the time and instead of having to carry him everywhere, I just put this carrier around my waist and prop him right onto the seat. There are also pockets that can hold my phone and keys, which is so convenient especially when we are out and about. The hip seat is very sturdy and helps take off some of the weight. Highly recommend this for anyone who has a baby or toddler who likes to be held as it really helps with the lower back strain.

Saves my back!
Straps on easy and seriously relieves the pressure on my back. I usually hold my baby on my hip and it’s caused all sorts of back pain. This was instant relief, and I think will be helpful in the long run. It distributes the weight well, and honestly I think my baby enjoyed it more because he was less wiggly. Little one is currently 16 months and 25 pounds.

Back Relief
I ordered this for my daughter who is due around Christmas. Her back bothered her so much with carrying the last baby around, I thought this would give her back a rest and still support the baby. I like that it has extra pockets to carry thins like a wallet or cell phone. That way she doesn’t need to carry a purse while carrying the baby. Hope she likes it!
