The Best Sound Machine for Peaceful Baby Sleep
This sound machine is amazing! My baby sleeps so much better since I started using it. The sounds are very soothing — I especially love the white noise and lullabies. The night light is soft and calming, perfect for nighttime feedings without waking the baby completely.It’s easy to control, has great volume options, and connects to the app, which makes everything super convenient. The design is modern and compact. Totally worth it for parents who want to help their baby (and themselves!) get better rest.

Amazing!
I love it! It has a great variety of nature sounds, melodies, shushing, womb sounds, as well as white, pink & brown noise. The light feature is also nice, you can dim it or make it as bright as you’d like and it also gives you the option to choose from different colors. The time feature is a plus perfect for night feedings or if you have kids in school. It has alarm, timer & child lock settings as well and the sound quality is amazing!

Like it but some things I wish were different
I was in between this one and the popular one and decided to get this one since I didn’t know how much we would use it. The app was free (more on that later) and I didn’t have to pay for sounds. The light isn’t super bright to where it makes it easier to see the changing table in a dark room which is a bummer since that’s why I wanted it but oh well. Sound quality is good. Haven’t used the timer. And I like that I can dim down the clock feature on it where it basically doesn’t show.What I am not a fan of:- the cord it comes with. I was hoping it was going to come with a removable brick (not sure what popular brand comes with). The dresser/changing table that it is on sticks out from the wall since the brick is bulky. Annoying but I will live.- the app I don’t mind it too much since it is free and I don’t have to pay for the app or sounds but I would love if this sound machine had the ability to connect to Apple home app since the app needed for it is basically a generic version of Apple Home. But since the app is free I will live.- the popular one isn’t either but it has to be plugged in to work. There isn’t a battery life as it needs the bulky brick to function.Bottom line:I would buy it again since it is a good sound machine, light and it is free to use but there’s just some things that could be better.

We have had the Dream Egg for about 2 weeks now and we love it. I got it as a cheaper alternative to the Hatch Rest+, which we also have, and it’s great. It is super easy to set up. You can set routines, control it remotely and there’s a TON of different sound options and colors. The overall quality is very very similar to the Hatch. One detail that differs is that this has to be connected to a power source while the Hatch has an internal battery where you could carry it as a nightlight or it can keep going in the event of a power outage. This does not have that option, but we so far have not minded. I would say the sleep quality is equivalent to other sound machines. My newborn sleeps great and we are currently only using this one for naptimes in her bedroom since she still sleeps in our room. The light is very bright and the sound can go pretty loud as well. I really like that this has the buttons on top and the sides that allow you to easily adjust things and choose other sound options versus the Hatch where you have to use the app unless your just adjusting sound volume or light level. I don’t usually write reviews, but this one has impressed me so much, I had to brag on it. The app also allowed you to connect it to an Alexa or Google home product so you can control it that way, which is not a function that the Hatch has, that I know of. Overall, SO worth it for the relatively low cost!!

I’ve seen the hatch sound machine and wanted to buy something that was basically the same just not super expensive. This one may not be as tall as that one, but it is exactly the same. I love the sound machine used it last night for my two-year-old because she’s going through her two-year-old sleep regression and it’s been driving me crazy bought this for her and it sure did the trick love that the app makes it so customizable. You can adjust how dim or bright the color of the light is you can adjust to whatever color you want. You can adjust the sound levels. There’s so many different sounds as well which is awesome because a lot of the other sound machines or sound apps don’t have as many features. I thought it was super cool that you could set an alarm With whatever sound and whatever color you wanted, which worked out great. I use that this morning and put the birds chirping and my baby girl woke up peacefully to it. Going to be buying one for my other daughter as well

Do you value your sanity?
This is exactly what we’ve been needing. I have two children who wake up ready for their shift at the mines at 5a-6a and they often rile themselves up and wake the whole household. They are not quite at the age where times have meaning but they seem to understand colors and routines. The app is easy to navigate and the options are plentiful. I cannot tell you how much peace this has brought our home. They actually stay in bed until at least 5:30 and stay quiet until 6a. It’s like a magic trick. I got eight hours of sleep the first night it was in use and almost cried of relief. The option to lock the function of the buttons is surely a lifesaver as it prevents my child from blasting Mozart at ungodly times. My children enjoy the soft ambient light this provides overnight as they swear they are scared of the dark (unless it’s 6pm and they turn off all the lights to play hide-and-seek in their pitch black room– that is of course, different, mom). It’s small enough to fit on a small shelf or, in our case, a small stool to ensure it is in view of the bottom bunk. If you’ve been looking at the Hatch but can’t stand spending that much money on a device that may or may not wind up in the toilet someday- this product is for you. Godspeed, my friend.

I used to have a first generation Hatch Rest but gave it away when I thought I was done having kids. Fast forward a few years and another baby later, and even something like this again. But Hatch complicated their product and created a subscription, and my overtired brain couldn’t handle it. So I returned it and found this instead. Much simpler and easier. Exactly what I was looking for. My 2.5 year old loves yelling that her light is blue in the morning. She can choose the colour for her naps. I can control with my phone. Easy peasy.
