Easy and fun to use
My two kids enjoyed playing with these. I like that there was enough for both to use. The patterns are not hard to do for older kids, but challenging for younger kids. my kids ages are 2 and 8. It is a good activity for morning baskets or quiet time. For my 2 year old it helped him with fine motor skills. My 8 year old liked helping his brother figure it out. I like the quality. The wooden boards are a great size and it was made well.

Awesome!
I ordered these for my two year old as an activity for us to do together and also as a learning/coordination tool. He really loves it and asks to do it frequently. The cards are thick and the set quality is great overall.

Simple but engaging toy with multiple educational benefits
The concept behind this toy is pretty straightforward and not novel – you have three color strings and a small wooden board with holes, your job is to copy the pattern, both in terms of which holes are used and also how the strings cross one another.Nice Features:- The set comes with two sets of boards and strings so kids can play against one another or both siblings can play in parallel without needing to purchase multiples.- The strings are yellow, cyan, and orange colored so anyone with the more common color blind types should be able to use these without a problem- The boards are a nice quality with smooth edges and nice thickness. The boards are also small and light enough for little hands without being too bulky and cumbersome for travel or older kids. The laces are also generously long, so success doesn’t depend on only one solution.- The cards come in four colors that seem to loosely correspond with different levels of difficulty, though they aren’t clearly marked as such nor is there numbering to suggest a progression. Regardless I was able to find cards that engaged both our 3 and 6 yr olds for longer than the typical activity attention span. I also appreciated that most of the cards had more than one way to successfully achieve the pattern. However, there is no includes control card or solution manual. (Most should be straightforward for adults to model).

Good quality set
Good quality wooden boards with holes large enough to sew without struggling to get the laces through. Comes with more than enough laces in orange, turquoise, and yellow. I like that it’s an unusual color collection and not a typical boring color set. The box says “competition,” but I think it’s just a nice set for my kids to work on their motor skills, to unwind, relax, and practice focusing on something other than tv or a phone. It comes with a good amount of cards with designs to replicate. I’m very satisfied with this set.

Great Hands-On Activity for Focus, Dexterity & Brain Development
My 5-year-old daughter receives in-home ABA services, and her therapy sessions often focus on building skills like following multi-step directions, patience, and communication. When I came across this Montessori-style sewing kit from EduLand, I knew it would be a perfect addition to our toolkit of hands-on learning materials. This set includes two high-quality wooden sewing boards with plenty of holes, six vibrant lacing ropes in blue, yellow, and orange, and 20 pattern cards that range in difficulty—categorized into easy, medium, and hard. The activity of threading and lacing through the board is fantastic for building fine motor skills, pincer grasp strength, and hand-eye coordination—all essential developmental areas for young kids. The pattern cards are a standout feature. They promote pattern recognition, step-by-step direction following, and spatial awareness, which are all crucial cognitive skills. We’ve used this kit several times already during therapy sessions, and I can tell it really gets my daughter thinking and concentrating. And that’s exactly what I want—an activity that challenges her brain, encourages problem-solving, and reduces screen time.I also love that it includes two boards, so she can either do one alongside one of her siblings, her therapist, me, or even engaging in friendly challenges, which boosts social interaction and turn-taking.The materials feel safe and durable, there was no roughness on the wood boards, no cracks or chips. I’m always on the lookout for activities that help my kids think independently while being fun, hands-on, and screen-free—and this definitely checks those boxes.

Simple but good.
This is a very simple but decent threading/sewing toy. Minimal and to the point which can be a good thing. My niece will play with it for about 5 minutes and then be done with it. But at least she enjoys it and it does help to develop patter recognition and fine motor skills (which is always a good thing)

Well-Made and Full of Potential—We’re Not Quite There Yet, But Excited to Learn
This is a cute, well-made Montessori-style activity set, and I’m looking forward to more learning experiences with it. My 2.5-year-old isn’t quite ready for the concept of “sewing” or weaving the string through in patterns yet, but she enjoys threading a few holes and exploring the materials—and I know we’ll grow into it.It comes with six durable strings (two each in blue, orange, and yellow), and two smooth wooden sewing boards that are perfectly sized for little hands. The boards are lightweight but feel sturdy and splinter-free. I love that the ropes are thick and soft, not stiff or flimsy. The included pattern cards are a great touch—we’re not using them yet, but I think they’ll be a helpful next step once she’s ready to follow visual instructions. For now, it’s about exploration and fine motor practice, which this definitely supports.Four stars for quality, design, and long-term potential. I think this will stay in our rotation for a long while.
