Great Quality and light!
The material is very smooth, and my son loves it. It can be used as both a shaker and a teether.

Must Buy
I bought this for my son when he was about 1 month old. At first he was fascinated by the sight of the little blue rings moving around. When he started grabbing things the feel of it thrilled him. He quickly learned that the colored parts are moveable and would spend quite a long time for a little baby just bending the beads. He would get mad at his other toys, particularly rattles, because he couldn’t bend them. Now at almost 7 months this is and has been his favorite toy. He plays with it, chews on it, examines it and just plain loves it. So does mommy. This is a well made, durable, deceptively simple, and safe toy. It’s pleasant to hold and manipulate for mommy and daddy as well as baby. The rattle sound it makes is pleasant and it’s just an all around great toy. This was the first of several HABA toys that I purchased for my son. All of them have been well made and fascinating for baby. HABA seems to be completely dialed into what baby’s enjoy and how the learn. I initially thought these toys were almost as cool as Lamaze toys. I was wrong. HABA’s toys are the best. I highly recommend HABA toys and for younger babies Kringlering is a the best money you’ll spend on a toy.

perfect first toy, better than Sophie
My 6 week old baby was showing an interest in batting and grasping, so we ordered Kringelring. It is worth every penny. She loves the colors and the sound of the rings, and so do I. It feels good in your hand, and keeps her attention for a long time, too, up to 15 minutes–a long time for such a tiny baby. We love the design and I love HABA’s reputation for safe materials and finishes. Now I want more HABA. More!P. S. We also have Sophie the giraffe, who I adore, but she does not care about in the least. Sophie is too big for her hands, but mostly she seems to object to the texture of the rubber material. Not so with Kringelring. Maybe she will grow into Sophie. I hope so.

Excellent quality and baby loves it
Perfect clutch toy. It was one of my baby’s first teethers and perfect because she could hold onto the round shape easily. One side is solid wood and the colorful part is made of pieces that fit tightly together. The change in texture was very interesting to the baby and the colors fun to look at. The two loose blue circles move around and when baby shakes the toy, they clack satisfyingly. It’s perfect simplicity. She played with it for a long time and it has been a favorite. Held up beautifully. A quality toy and I like that it’s wood.

Perfect for st Patrick’s day
I was looking to find something for my baby that was st Patrick’s day themed and this was the best one available. I was surprised when it came in as it was a bit smaller than I was expecting but the quality is great. The colors are as bright as the pictures and with it being a bit smaller it fits perfectly into little hands. My baby still grabs for this toy all the time to hear the bell ring and to chew on it of course. Very happy with this purchase. This toy will last through a few babies for sure!

Perfect toy from birth to about 9 months
So I love this toy and so does my daughter. I like that it’s made by haba, is wood, uses primary colors, and has the two blue rings that make noise when you rattle the ring. It is easy to hold on to, easy for teething, easy to use as a tool, even when a child is very young. I’ve found the primary colors thing to be important because even at an older age when they can see pastels, they aren’t as interested in them as in primary colors. This was my daughter’s favorite toy until recently (i think 9 months is where it stops being as interesting) and everyone I’ve given it to for baby gifts has had the same experience with their children.

The moment I showed it to her on St Nicholas …
The moment I showed it to her on St Nicholas Day, my then five month old broke out in the biggest grin and immediately reached for this thing. We already had the HABA Sunni, which she also loves. She plays with her Kringlringl daily, loves holding it in her hands and chewing on the wood. Great quality. Bright colours. Four months later and the stain has held up, even though the toy itself is clearly ‘well loved’ and has been banged repeatedly and forcefully against every surface imaginable.UPDATE: I’m not sure if it’s her age or just that she’s bored by now of the same toy, but she has lost interest at 9 months old. She might regain it, she might not. Based on personal experience, I’d recommend this toy from about 4/5 months until about 9-10 months, or until your baby starts to gain interest in more interactive toys. I still recommend it, as the 4 months that she did play with it, she really loved this thing.

A great toy (but not the best teether)
Our baby had 2 bottom teeth pretty much on his 4 month birthday, so he was young and didn’t have as much motor control as an older child. We tried lots of high quality teethers, focusing on Made in the USA, Made in Europe, or materials like rubber and wood. We tried the Nenu, Hevea Panda, Sweet Tooth, The Egg, Haba wood teether, Sophie the Giraffe, and Homi Baby wood rattle.IMHO the Nenu is the best for teething. Hevea Panda is runner up.This Haba clutching pyramid is a very FUN toy to play with, and he will chew on it for a bit, but I don’t think it actually gives him relief from teething discomfort. He mostly wants to play with it in his hands. Which is great. Highly recommended as a toy.

MY 3 month old LOVES this! She was grabbing but not holding until this came, now she grabs and holds win both one hand and two– learned all in a day or two because she loves this thi so much. Takes a bit of getting used to for a baby her age (just barely three months) to get it into her mouth for teething, but I love that it is safe and natural. It’s also lightweight and the coloured beads have some give so that they bend– all meaning she’s not going to hurt herself if she smacks herself with it. Love it.
