The best “baby gear” item you can buy!
This type of pillow was hands down the one thing I could easily say I wouldn’t never do without with any of my children! In fact, I believe in the helpfulness, versatility, and, “making parents’ lives better”-ness of this pillow that it is the first thing I buy for every single baby shower I have attended! I discovered this pillow while looking for something to help with the carpal tunnel I had developed while my son was bottle feeding. This pillow was a lifesaver! I could place the pillow on my lap in several positions for my and his comfortability. As he grew, I could sit on the sofa next to this pillow with my son laying in it while he was able to be propped up enough to hold his own bottle. Fast forward a little farther and I was able to place the pillow on the floor and sit him in the middle of it as he practiced sitting up by himself with a nice comfy ring around himself to soften his fall as he tumbled. As he has grown older he would sit on it as a floor pillow, and has used it as a neck pillow. As my daughter was born, this was the first item that I bought! This pillow is literally the most versatile pillow I have ever used.I love that this pillow comes with a zippered cover that is removable, interchangeable with other designs, and washer/dryer safe. As a side suggestion, when I put this pillow in the dryer, I throw in a couple tennis balls to help keep the pillow’s fillings from bunching or balling up inside the pillow. If you’re expecting or know someone who is, this is truly the best “baby gear” item you can purchase, hands down.

    Smaller Pillow
I have primarily used the Boppy and the BreastFriend with my other babies – as my third was a surprise, I had already given them away, so I wanted to try something different. This pillow is a very basic design, gender neutral pattern – very easy to get the cover on and off for washing and the material is nice. This pillow is smaller in size compared to others I have tried – I can’t get it around my waist while 7 months pregnant and i imagine it would be difficult for anyone larger than average (which many post partum women are) to comfortably fit this around them. If you’re just sitting in a rocker with it, you can probably position it okay and maybe this would be a better pillow for tummy time or propping baby up on the floor, but it definitely will not be my go to nursing pillow this time around – I just prefer a bigger pillow as I tend to have bigger babies.

    Good nursing pillow
Seems to be similar quality to the other brands I’ve used in the past. That’s a good thing and as long as it’s priced right, it might be a good pick over the boppy and other name brands. I think the design is pretty much the same but I no longer have my old boppy pillow to compare

    Mediocre nursing pillow
This nursing pillow works, but it’s not anything special. It’s soft but a bit too soft. It’s not that firm, so the baby sinks in a bit. At $25, it is half the price of a Boppy, so if you’re tight on money, this would be a budget-friendly alternative. Instead of a nursing pillow, I use this pillow as a cushion if the baby falls asleep in my arms. The outside cover is pretty thin, so if you got stuff on it, it wouldn’t really protect the pillow underneath.

    Useful little pillow
This pillow is slightly smaller than other similar ones we have; which makes it useful for smaller folks and/or smaller chairs. The full sized ones can be a little unwieldy. The cover comes off easily and washes well, and the cushion itself has a good balance of softness vs support.

    Super Comfortable!
I ordered the Medline Nursing Pillow in size 18” x 23”. I really love that it comes with both the cushion itself, as well as a removable cover that you can toss in the washing machine (for other brands, you typically have to order the pillow and cover separately, which can be frustrating and add up). The pillow can be used for both nursing as well as bottle-feeding, providing a more ergometric experience for anyone feeding the baby (i.e., yourself, relatives, friends, and so on).For background, I’m about 5’3, and I found the “smaller” opening actually makes it really easy to configure and adjust the pillow around my midsection, whether I’m sitting in the glider or on the couch. There are other nursing pillows out there that are larger and have various belts to secure them – honestly, I found this Medline Nursing Pillow really easy because it’s smaller and easy to simply prop up around my waist. I found the firmness around a medium – not too soft, but not too firm for a little baby. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an easy, convenient nursing pillow!

    Perfect for my needs
It’s a nice “Boppy” pillow as the nursing lap-circling pillows were called at one time. I am an old lady, my baby days are way in my rearview, but I saw a novel use for one on a YouTube video about crochet. Wrap it around your torso whilst sitting and use it as almost a lap desk for my crocheting activities. Holds project up on lap without straining by hunching over or holding arms up to bring crochet fabric closer to eyes and tiring your arms and hands. It’s almost a necessity for me nowadays, best way for me to support my long-term crocheting sprees lol

    Unexpectedly my favorite nursing pillow
I already had a My Brest Friend and a Momcozy Plus Size nursing pillow, but neither was working super well for me when I tried to nurse my 3 month old in my nursery recliner. I didn’t have high expectations for this pillow, especially when I saw how small the center was, but it’s now my preferred one of the 3!I like it because it’s smaller than the other two. It puts baby at exactly the right height when I have her head resting on my arm (a relaxed reverse cradle hold). My nursery recliner is on the small side and this pillow fits comfortably across the whole width of the recliner so there aren’t any gaps for little limbs to slip in but it’s also not wedged in so tightly that it’s hard to get in/out/reposition as needed. It’s medium firmness – the My Brest Friend is firmer and the Momcozy pillow is more plush. This firmness works well for us as it’s supportive but has a little give.
