A friend recommended these, and since my kiddo never took to a pacifier, I was skeptical, but needed SOMETHING to help her with teething. She doesn’t quite understand that she needs to hold it in her mouth (again – never took to a pacifier), but if I hold it for her, biting down on the teeth plate really seems to give her some relief. Enough relief that she is more likely to take a bottle. The plate is also great to put some OraGel on, so she can essentially apply it herself.As an attempt to help see if your kiddo has similar taste to mine – my kiddo likes chewing on crocheted fabric (she has a crocheted rattle and stuffed animal that she loves), terry cloth, teething rings on occasion, and the Nuby Silicone teether.If she’s fussing from teething I give her one of these Pacifier teethers, then the Nuby Silicone teether, and she seems to calm down quite a bit. Suitable for toddlers, not babies.
The idea of this product is innovative…. but not for actual teething babies. My baby is used to sucking, so trying to bite on something they don’t have teeth for is kinda redundant. Your baby has to have the capability to “bite down” (or gum down without sucking) to keep this in their mouth.The idea is there, but the functionality is absent.Maybe this is more appropriate for a larger toddler as the pacifier itself is large. (Think of a retainer).The gel it comes with works very well, almost immediately.

Every day baby item
We literally use these every day to put baby’s teething medicine on her gums. Rather then using our finger, we put the medicine directly onto the paci and stick it in her mouth and it works like a charm. We also stick them in the freezer and they have proven to be just fine so they are super durable. The only thing I do wish is that they came in a smaller size for smaller mouths, but not enough to dock off a star.

Amazing for teething babies
None of my kids have been binky babies. But this right here was a life saver. My poor son was so miserable when he was teething. His gums were so swollen and this helped him so much. He was biting and chewing on anything to get relief. The texture was soothing and he loved to bite it. Easy to clean and hold for his chubby little hands.

This teether is very good. My baby likes it and is very easy to hold. The material is good and flexible and allows for baby to hold well. I like that you’re able to easily put some teething gel on this. It is also very convenient that it comes with a cover so it’s sanitary and nice for carrying in diaper bag.

It looks quality, but from the anecdotal evidence I have (three 4-6 month olds), its not a big success at all. My understanding is that babies prefer to chew natural gum rubber over silicon.
