The Great Binky Leash Revolution: How Nuby Pacifier Clips Saved Our Sanity
Our house had become a binky graveyard. We’d tried every pacifier known to parentkind – Mam, Dr. Brown, Tommy Tippee, Jolly Pop, Soothies – desperately seeking the perfect mouth-plug for our daughter. Once we figured out what worked, we panic-bought them in bulk. Our home transformed into an unofficial pacifier distribution center, yet somehow they were never where we needed them when the crying started. Meanwhile, our dogs discovered a fascinating new chew toy category.THE NUBY SOLUTIONEnter these Nuby Pacifier Clips in “Peach Stripes and Hearts.” Two for $6.50? Shut up and take my money! The concept is brilliantly simple, yet somehow revolutionary: tether the pacifier to your child. It’s like someone finally connected the dots between “babies drop things” and “parents hate searching for things.” The polyester strap with hard plastic clip creates a leash for your child’s oral comfort device, essentially turning your baby into a walking pacifier storage system.THE TECHNICAL BREAKDOWN✓ No more pacifier scavenger hunts through the house✓ Dogs are denied their silicone chew toys✓ Strong, reliable clip that stays attached to clothing✓ Works with multiple pacifier brands (anything with a hole)✓ Cute design options available× Clip opening mechanism is counterintuitive (requires prying)× Not recommended for nighttime use (strap safety concerns)× Limited to pacifiers with holes for the slip-knot attachmentREAL-WORLD TESTINGAfter two weeks of testing, these clips have become essential daytime gear. The clip is almost too strong – I’ve worried about ripping fabric when removing it, but I’d rather have that than a clip that pops off easily. These little champions have survived the ultimate baby gauntlet: daycare drop-offs and car rides. They come back exactly where we clipped them in the morning, surviving the daycare jungle and even the tangle of car seat straps that seem designed to capture and collect all baby accessories. The real game-changer is the mental load reduction. We’ve gone from strategically placing pacifiers throughout the house like we’re plotting a military operation to simply clipping one to whatever the baby is wearing. When she inevitably launches it from her mouth with the force of a tiny cannon, it dangles conveniently from her outfit rather than disappearing into the couch dimension or becoming a dog snack. We still maintain a strategic nighttime pacifier reserve since we’re not comfortable leaving the strap attached during sleep. This means our house still has a binky collection, but significantly reduced from our previous stockpile that threatened to qualify us for an episode of “Hoarders: Pacifier Edition.”One quirk worth mentioning: the clip doesn’t open the way you’d expect. Instead of pressing down, you need to pry under the top lip with your fingernail like you’re jimmy-rigging a tiny alligator’s jaw. It’s slightly annoying but becomes second nature after a few uses. Speaking of alligators, the clip profile actually looks like a little gator with eyes and teeth when viewed from the side – a delightful bonus feature for parents who appreciate random design quirks.WHO NEEDS THIS?Parents tired of playing “find the binky” seventeen times a day. Families whose dogs consider pacifiers gourmet chew toys. Babies who treat pacifier-throwing as an Olympic sport. Anyone who’s ever calculated their monthly pacifier budget and quietly wept. They work best with pacifiers that have built-in holes (like Soothies or Jolly Pops) for the slip-knot attachment.THE VERDICTThese Nuby clips transform your baby from a pacifier-dropping machine into a self-contained pacifier storage system. At $3.25 each, they’ll save you money, save your knees from floor searches, and save your sanity one dropped binky at a time.Let’s talk cost savings: We’ve probably spent over $100 on pacifiers that seem to dissolve into thin air – vanishing into couch crevices or becoming premium dog chew toys. At $6.50 for two clips, the investment is minimal compared to the constant replenishing of your pacifier stockpile. The slight learning curve on the clip mechanism is worth mastering for the peace of mind these provide. While they won’t completely eliminate your pacifier collection (you’ll still need nighttime options), they’ll drastically reduce the number of pacifiers scattered throughout your home. For daytime use, they’re absolutely worth it – unless you enjoy crawling under furniture at 3pm as much as you do at 3am.

Favorite paci clips
Great price for awesome paci clips! Easy to take on and off but still very strong so they don’t fall off. Love that the clip is plastic instead of metal.

Great Quality Pacifier Clips!
I love these Nuby pacifier clips they’re so cute, and the different designs are adorable! The top part that wraps around the pacifier is super sturdy, which is great for pacifiers that don’t have a clip. The clip itself holds really well on my baby’s clothes, so it doesn’t fall off or get dirty. The quality is awesome, very sturdy, and I think it’s a great value for the price. I have no complaints. Just a really solid product!”

Finally a dummy holder with a plastic end. My little one loves chewing on that part rather than the dummy and hey always have metal. This one is plastic so not too sharp
