This generic nursing pillow (Anhebeibei) is comparable to the Boppy pillow, which I typically use. They are nearly the same size, but the Anhebeibei feels denser and heavier, while the Boppy has a more uniform texture. The Anhebeibei comes with a velvety cover that’s soft to the touch, but it isn’t as breathable as Boppy’s cotton cover. For that reason, I’d still consider the Boppy safer for newborns.Functionally, the Anhebeibei performs well—likely because the design closely mirrors the Boppy. It supports the baby at a comfortable height for feeding and helps reduce strain on the arms and back. Even if it’s not used for nursing, it works as a lounging pillow or something soft for the baby to hug. The removable cover is easy to wash, though that’s expected for any nursing pillow.The trade-off comes down to breathability versus cost. The velvety cover is cozy but can run warm, while cotton feels cooler and more practical for newborns. Still, for parents looking for a more affordable option, this pillow does the job and is worth the lower price tag.
