    Great quality bag
Overall I’m really happy with this changing bag. I’ve used several osprey backpacks in the past and their quality holds up amazing over time. I really like that the bag looks and feels like a regular day pack as well. You could take out the changing pad and slide a laptop in that compartment and no one would be the wiser. I LOVE the zipper pulls on this backpack as well. They’re durable, super easy to grab, and the zipper slides super smooth. When you’re already dealing with a fussing baby, fumbling with stuck zippers on cheaper diaper bags is a headache. It has a few quirks, but I’m definitely happy with this bag.Pros:-Zipper pulls are amazing, no kinks and its super smooth-Love the insulated bottle holder-Straps and vented back are very comfortable, no problem using this all day-tons of storage and pockets for organization-Build quality matches other osprey bags, always sturdyCons:-7yr warranty, not sure why its so short considering its just a backpack and not their carriers-Access to the bottom of the bag is a little tough. Mostly just diapers at the bottom but the bag doesn’t open up wide enough for easy access if something falls to the bottom.-Top handle sits too flush with the bag, hard to quickly grab

Nice bag, but just a copy of an ordinary backpack
I absolutely LOVE Osprey products, but!Quality is superior, colors are nice, fit is excellent, capacity is fair. That said, it’s basically a copy of a classic backpack where they added a changing pad and an insulated side pocket.I’m that kind of organizing guy that needs rooms for stuff.Inside is rooms, some with zippers, some with mesh, but there isn’t like a great pocket for diapers, a great pocket for fresh clothes (I’d make that one waterproof to prevent leaks from ie. wipes so fresh clothes stay dry), there isn’t a pocket that fits the classic size of a packet of wipes. It’s just an ordinary backpack someone spend a day rebuilding – probably one who isn’t a “baby prepper”.But it is nice and I love ours!Ideally I would look for a camera bag next time I think where you can open it up, have inside dividers and easily see if you need to restock before heading out.In my changing bag I have;- 2x bottles- 2x 2oz containers w. formula- 2x containers with pacifiers- 1 package of wipes- 10 diapers- 2x small towels- 1x small blanket- 2x cloths- 3x onesies- 10x plastic bagsAll that takes time to run over and I can’t remember what I’ve used last time – that’s why I need pockets and overview.

Real diaper bag, but comfortable to carry
This is the best diaper bag I’ve used. I wish we had this for the first two kids, but better late than never. It’s not your typical diaper bag design, obviously it looks more like a nice daypack, which makes sense for an Osprey product. There are two things that traditional diaper bags do that this doesn’t: they typically can stand up on their own, which is a small thing but can be handy, and our old one had a zipper at the bottom that made it easy to access buried items. This doesn’t have have that, but it has better organization overall so I don’t see that as an issue.I appreciate a lot of what they’ve done to make this make sense as a diaper bag–there’s an insulated zip pouch on one side of the pack that’s big enough to easily fit two of our bottles, and you could probably shove in another one. There are two pouches on the front face of the backpack, one large mesh pouch that’s great for temporarily holding damp items, and a shallow one above that that’s perfect for snacks. There are two large main compartments, one with a pair of elastic pouches for organization (big enough for diapers) and the other with two zip pouches (one full length, one shallow), the changing pad pouch, and two side pouches good for bottles or a small umbrella. On the outside there’s one stretchy, extra-generous water bottle pouch. This can easily fit a full Nalgene or even a USGI canteen, or it can fit two Camelbak bottles but that’s a little snug. The thing that makes this special in my eyes is not all the organization, as good as that is. It’s that carrying this on your back doesn’t totally suck. Our old diaper bags had straps that were too close together, no sternum strap, certainly no back ventilation. This Osprey bag is so much nicer to haul around. I can actually be comfortable walking around for long days with the kids and have everything we need. I love it. If you want to get out there with your kids and you’re going to be carrying a diaper bag on your back for many long days, get something like this that you won’t hate carrying!

    Not a Diaper Bag
First I must say I love Osprey and have at least 5 backpacks, one that I’ve had over 10 years and it’s probably been to 50 countries. Unfortunately their attempt at a diaper bag is a gigantic failure. They’ve essentially taken another pack added a couple pockets and are now calling it a diaper bag. It’s not. It doesn’t have the organization or number of pockets needed. I was very bummed to have to get a different diaper bag backpack. It doesn’t even feel like they tried with this one.

Best larger changing bag. This item is fantastic, would be 5* but have to knock one off as it is too expensive! The insulated bottle pocket is a great idea and the bag is large enough to hold everything and has a pocket that’s perfect for tablets etc.Only thing I would mention is it’s just the right size for me, but way too big for my partner to use comfortably, so probably one for dads or taller mums!
