If you’re looking for a hand pump. This is the one.
The best manual hand pump I’ve used. Always my go to for a quick and easy pump. Also pumps lots of milk! 3rd pregnancy and buying it again. Compared to others, does not hurt. It’s the right amount of suction and easy to clean.

Game changer for manual pump
The Philips Avent Manual Breast Pump has been a total game-changer for me! It’s incredibly easy to use, perfect for quick pumping sessions at home or on the go.One of my favorite features is the silicone flange—it’s soft, flexible, and really improves comfort compared to harder plastic ones I’ve used in the past. It makes the whole experience feel more natural and less stressful.Cleaning is also super simple, with just a few parts that come apart easily and wash up well, even by hand. I love the design and convenience, and the natural motion technology really helps express milk efficiently without discomfort.Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable manual pump!

Great hand pump
Great option for pumping. Easy to use and clean, and allows for me to pump on the go. No battery or electricity needed! Went for this one since I use the Phillips avent bottles.

This pump is fantastic
This pump stopped me from quitting pumping.I have about 5 other pumps, and 3 are useable, and some are not at all suited for me to put it nicely.I only took off 1 star because I believe it could do with 1 simple improvement. I don’t use it with the plastic bottle it came with. It screws on well onto the 16 or so Philips glass bottles I have. The only issue is there is no seal between the pump and the bottle so if I tip it sideways, it will start leaking my baby’s precious food supply.Other than that,I like having a milk collector (I use medela, but I assume haaka and others are the same) on one breast while I pump with this on the other. This Philips pump is very comfy for my breasts and flat nipples. I love the control I can assert and not having 2 different “strengths” like other manual pumps is surprisingly better for me, so I’m going based off instinct. That helps with my milk let downs. For me and my lifestyle, this Philips works better for me than the purple Lansinoh manual one I got from Walmart to hold me over when my baby came early. This Philips one is also better for me than the yellow gimmick Medela pump with a spinning top that I keep almost dropping because it’s hard to hold one-handed. Though the silicone collector the medela came with has done well for me alongside this Philips manual pump.I also have an Elvie Stride 2 and don’t get me started. That thing was a nightmare for me. It’s harder silicone, I got rugburn on my areola and had my skin peeling from it. I started slathering on lanolin. It doesn’t drain all my milk, I got a milk bleb, and mastitis. Every time I nursed, it felt like electricity going through me. My doctor said I may have an exposed nerve. I went to the hospital to see a lactation consultant and she confirmed my flange size. I had to wear a nipple shield for a few days while my nipple healed but still needed my baby feeding on it to drain the milk or I’d get more issues. Even after I confirmed I had the right flange, I still had to use the Lanolin, and it still wouldn’t drain my breasts. I wear Lanolin with it just so I don’t get I got that through my insurance and I regret it. I really love this Philips manual pump by comparison. Regretfully I can’t afford to buy the Philips electric pump. Maybe for the next baby I’ll get that with my insurance.

Great hand pump
This is the perfect hand pump. I got confused and did not like other hand pumps. This one works best with me and obviously I use. Avent bottles so it fit best with me

Horribly painful
This item is horrible! I bought it to replace my Medela hand pump because I can use my spectra bottles with it. But it’s horrible. The suction is painful. The milk doesn’t go into the bottle, it runs back out the flange. I can easily get 5 oz on one side with my electric pump, I’m lucky if I get half an ounce with this. I will be buying a Medela.

Lots of pieces
Works good but it has a ton of pieces and is difficult to put back together, honestly could not figure it out after the second time and got rid of it. But it was comfortable compared to the manual one we got at the hospital.

Postpartum life saver!
As a mom who excusively pumps, this has been a lifesaver! So much easier to pack this when going out than my electric pump, all the parts, the charger- what a hassle! Easy to use, easy to clean, and attaches to my girls bottles!

Not working properly now, the suction!

I love it! The universal cushion size is a life safer and I am glad it was my first experience with an electric pump. The cushion is also compatible with the Philips hand pump! Super comfortable and met all of my pumping needs: produced great output and worked quickly enough for me. It didn’t bother me when I needed to be seated and plugged into an outlet for a pump! I have a vehicle with an outlet in it, so easily took it on the go with me!This may be a con with all pumps, I wouldn’t know, but I wish replacement valves weren’t so hard to locate on their site and $16.25CAD for one.
