Adorable and comes with so many extras to keep a wee babe entertained. I’ve been babysitting my infant niece frequently on weekends to give Mom and Dad a break, and this lounger has been very well used and loved in the short time I’ve had it. It cleans up well, which I can vouch for when I forgot to lay a blanket over the top like I usually do and my niece had spit up. It actually washed up in the washer pretty well and didn’t set my machine off-balance. Of course, this isn’t meant to be a sleep lounger, so make sure your following directions and not leaving baby unattended/ unsupervised. My niece can be pretty fussy and has reflux, so having her upright a bit after she’s been burped is crucial, but she gets squirmy when I hold her too long and wants to see things. This has been perfect to help prop her up and let her bat at the toys and see her reflection. She loves all of the little toys and her eyes get so big as she explores. It’s been a few weeks and she’s still very into the experience. We’re about to start to tummy time soon too and this lounger will be perfect for that as well. I’ll just have some of the toys on the floor instead. The quality seems great and it was cheaper than other similar name brand items I found at Target. So far it’s holding up very well. It’s fairly soft as well, though not insanely soft like minky.

It’s really nice to have a mat for your little one. It gives them a place to visually explore and it gives you some independence too. You want it to have raised edges so they can’t roll out, and you want it to have enough activities to keep them mesmerized. And of course you want it to be safe.This play mat showed up in a box that was screaming at the seams. I wouldn’t want to gift it because it almost looks like it’s been used and crammed back in the box. Once you open the box though, you can see that everything is neatly packaged and new. The cushiony piece is vacuum packed separately. You have to open that and let it reinflate. I inserted mine into the material piece before it fully inflated. I thought it might be easier to get it in that way. If you’re going to use this tactic, make sure you wash the bedding piece first so that it’s clean and ready. It’s not that hard to fish the cushion in there fully inflated so don’t let that stop you. It’s a zipper enclosure. This is nice so you can wash the bedding piece. There were no instructions Inside the box or any pictures on the box to help with assembly. The listing showed some pictures that could be helpful when assembling. The only questionable part for me was the criss cross upper pieces knowing how they attached to the bottom. There are Loops sewn into the bottom that you slide the clips through. There are five toys to clip on which includes a mirror. There’s also a small pillow insert that you can lay inside, but avoid using this for smaller children that could roll over and suffocate. There’s also two triangle pieces at the end of the mat that you can pull together and tie off to turn it into a complete enclosed circle- like a pet bed. I really like that about it. I am slightly concerned about the clips that attach the toys to the bars across the top. The clips are not a complete circle, so if baby is a magician they might be able to turn the toys and get them loose from the hooks or get the hooks loose themselves. Overall I think this is a cute, well-made set.Removed one star for it not being giftable due to the too-small box and the hooks.
