The Ultimate Portable Sleep Solution—Better Than the Big Names
As someone whos kids absolutely must have white noise to sleep, have been searching for a more travel friendly and compact solution instead of always packing the Hatch. I am thrilled to say I finally found it! This portable blue sound machine is a complete game-changer, and for only $15, the value is genuinely fantastic.For traveling with kids, this machine is a huge win. We used to lug our large, plug-in unit (like the Hatch) everywhere, but this tiny device is SO much easier and smaller, making it effortlessly fit into any diaper or carry-on bag. The fact that it doesn’t require a plug-in is an incredible advantage in a hotel room where outlets are always inconveniently placed or sparse. It charges quickly via USB and reliably lasts through a few nights before needing a recharge.This little machine hits all the right notes. While it might not have the massive sound library of a larger unit, it has the essential, soothing sounds you need for travel, including rain, ocean, and pure white noise (which is perfect for me). The volume control is great, and I love the timer function that lets you set it for 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes, or run indefinitely.A fantastic bonus feature is the built-in nightlight, which can be easily toggled on and off—it’s perfect for those middle-of-the-night checks in unfamiliar rooms.There are a few small things to note: the controls are a bit unintuitive at first (definitely read the manual!), and the choice of a TF card slot instead of a more standard Micro SD slot is slightly odd. However, since my primary use is the core white noise, these minor points are completely irrelevant to the machine’s primary purpose. It performs perfectly where it counts, is half the size of my old machine, and provides total peace of mind for sleep, making this an easy, enthusiastic five-star recommendation.

Tons of features, great value
This is one of the better white noise machines I’ve come across, particularly for the price. The device is heavy (in a good way) and feels very well constructed. Controls are on the bottom of the device, which is rubberized to prevent sliding on your bedside table. The controls are intuitive, but there is a straightforward manual included if you need it. The device has more features than any other white noise machine I’ve come across. There is voice feedback for some activities (e.g. “power on”), and while I wasn’t blow away by the sound quality, it’s certainly adequate for this size of device. In addition to the six built-in sounds, one can connect a phone by bluetooth or insert a memory card. I tested the bluetooth and it connected to my phone instantly, and played sounds from my phone flawlessly. I have not tested the memory card feature, but I have no reason to expect it would not work. One special feature of this machine is the night light, which I find pleasant and not so bright as to keep me awake. Despite all these excellent features, there is one somewhat important feature missing: a power indicator. Although there is a charging light, I have yet to find a way to ascertain how much battery life is left. If the feature is there, it is well-hidden. That aside, this is still an excellent little white noise machine, and a great value in my estimation.

Very functional and even the pups like it
Over the years, I’ve tried various white noise machines to improve my sleep, and I really like this unit. Its compact size makes it perfect for travel, easily fitting into my bag. The rechargeable battery has excellent life, which is a big plus. The selection of musical, soothing sounds help me drift off quickly, and although I’m usually not a fan of lights on such devices, the soft glow from this one is quite pleasant.I didn’t realize at first that it was Bluetooth compatible, but I’ve found myself using that feature more than expected. I can see this product being great not only for adults but also for soothing babies—and even my pets seem to enjoy its calming effect. Overall, this is a great value for anyone looking to bring a sense of serenity to their space. Very functional and definitely a good value for the money in my house.

Small and full-features, this is a great value sound machine!
I’ve had my white noise machine for years and have been looking for a replacement, or more accurately a second for when my original finally bites the dust! When I sleep I MUST have white noise such as a fan, as the slightest noise will keep me awake. It’s especially important when staying in a hotel. This has features that my original never had, and it’s less than half the size! The machine comes with a very easy to read manual, as well as a USB cord for charging. That, in fact, is one of my favorite things about this machine–it doesn’t plug in but uses rechargable batteries! Outlets in a hotel are often inconveniently placed or sparse, so one less thing to plug in is an incredible advantage!The sound machine is small and attractive and will fit in with most decor. I love that there is a volume control and several sound modes including rain, the ocean, white noise, and lullaby (my 3 year old granddaughter’s favorite mode!) It also has a timer, which will automatically turn the unit off after 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes–or you can choose to let it run indefinitely. I found that the controls are a bit unintuitive, so read the manual carefully to understand how to change the sound mode or set the sleep timer. Also, the machine has a slot for a memory card, but it is a “TF” Card slot (TransFlash) which seems to me to be an odd choice, instead of a micro SD card slot. There is also a bluetooth mode. I have not used the card slot or the bluetooth mode myself, but I presume that you can play music of your choice through these modes. Unfortunately, the manual does nothing to explain their use.Overall, I’m very please with this sound machine, because I would only be using the white noise (for myself) or the lullaby (for my granddaughter) modes, and they work perfectly! This is so small it will be easy to travel with! And, I nearly forgot to mention a GREAT feature that can be toggled on and off–it has a built in nightlight!
