Soft Microfiber Baby Blanket
This is a soft microfiber baby blanket in a neutral beige color. The blanket is very pretty with a ruffled edge. The blanket can be warm in the winter, but not so much in the summer since microfiber isn’t a very breathable fabric. If you are simply using this blanket for aesthetic reasons, it should be fine, but I probably wouldn’t use this blanket to wrap a baby in. I prefer breathable cotton blankets. The blanket seems to be well made and if it were made of cotton instead of microfiber, I would probably love this blanket. Whether you like or dislike this blanket will depend on your opinion of microfiber. If you don’t mind microfiber, then you will probably like this blanket.

Comes well packaged and washes up nice
The material is very nice. It’s a beautiful neutral tone and I enjoy that it comes vacuum sealed in a package so that it’s nice and clean when it arrives. It fits perfectly and adds a beautiful touch to my room. It’s also a great value. The material washed up well and also went through the dryer well.

Not impressive
This is unimpressive. The ruffle is too short to really have any flounce. The “down alternative” fill just feels like polyester batting. The material feels plasticky. After washing, it gets a bit misshapen, so it doesn’t seem to hold up well. The smaller size is too short to cover a full toddler mattress, which is an odd design choice. Color is as shown.

For toddlers only, not safe as infant bedding, very poorly made
This is a fluffy 100% polyester fiber comforter with a ruffle around the edge, from Uozzi. It is marked “Crib” and “Exelience: First Grade” (sic). The stitching is as good as the spelling on this comforter. It does not look like the product photos. This consists of fluffy batting between two layers of polyester fabric, with very sloppy white stitching at intervals to tack (not quilt) it together and a short ruffle (shorter than in the product photos, which clearly do not depict a blanket made by the same maker). It’s very sloppy, sewn by someone relatively unskilled, a low-effort design and a terrible value for $19.99. I would be embarrassed to give this as a gift.Worse, though, it is described as crib bedding with an emphasis on a good night’s sleep on the included brand card but with no warnings at all that it simply isn’t safe to put an infant to sleep lying on or under a blanket. If it covers the baby’s face he or she could suffocate. The ad describes it both as a baby and toddler blanket, but with more of a toddler emphasis which is correct. It could be a toddler girl’s bed blanket if you use the crib mattress as a toddler mattress.The thick bed comforter style of this blanket means you’re not likely to want to use it as a receiving blanket for an infant because it does not lend itself to swaddling a baby.The label says you can machine wash it cold on the gentle cycle. The gentle cycle would certainly be crucial to avoid the batting getting damaged and shifting around because it’s just tacked in there and not quilted. The batting is not secured well along the edges so it is actually already shifting away from the edge before ever being used.This is the worst baby blanket I have reviewed. It just doesn’t look anywhere near as good as the photos and it is not neatly sewn. because the thread is a contrasting color (white) the poor sewing stands out, too.
