This baby floor mat has officially earned its spot as the VIP lounge for little ones in our family. It’s thick, cushy, and perfect for babies just figuring out how to roll, crawl, or just lounge like tiny retired humans. My nephew’s little guy even pulled off his very first roll on this mat—cue the family cheering like he just won an Olympic event. We’re all super paranoid about babies bonking their heads, but no worries here—this thing has more than enough squish to handle the rookie moves.The cover is soft, furry-feeling, and most importantly, washable. Dribbles, drools, and the occasional formula disaster? No biggie. Toss it in the washer, and you’ll be back in business. It folds up for storage, too, though it’s thick enough that you’ll have to put a little muscle into it. Honestly, this mat is a no-brainer if you want something cozy, easy to clean, and sturdy enough for endless baby adventures (and a few adorable mishaps). Good Semi-Permanent Baby Mat
This is a good mat for babies to lay/crawl/play on. Due to it having the removable cover and the plusher inside, it is a little thick which makes it less easy to fold up and put away somewhere, which is why I call it “semi-permanent”. It is nice to have and easy to clean up. If you’re looking for a mat that you intend to leave down lots of the time, or have lots of storage I’d recommend it.

If you like being able to wash what your baby lays on, grab this mat!
Prior to receiving this, I saw a review that questioned the price. Let’s be real, lots of baby items are expensive and it’s probably because people are willing to spend a lot of money on a new bundle of joy.Now before I proceed with my review, I’d like to note that even as product reviewers, we get taxed on the items, so we should discern which are good pick ups and which are not worth the tax hit. That being said, I quickly picked this item without question when I saw it.Why? Because of two things 1- Muslin. Nuff said if you have already brought a baby into this world. 2- The cover is removable! Many of the comparable mats out there are either plush but not washable (and you want this for a baby majoring in eating and pooping) as in wipe and vacuum only, OR a flat wipeable mat with no softness, OR feel like a straight up blanket on the floor. (There is nothing wrong with the last one if you’re paying less than $30-50.) I like that this has a solid mat underneath (wipeable) and then it has the muslin top layer that you can remove entirely to throw in the wash. It comes in a good size that can last well into the first year. Also, I should comment that I didn’t sense a smell but its always a good idea to air out or wash any new baby item before use.Conclusion: Good investment.

Large, thick and well made floor mat. I love how easy it is to clean. It’s great for babies learning to sit up and crawl, since it provides cusion against the hard floor while still being solid enough to provide an even surface. Definitely worth it

Soft, breathable play mat with removable, washable cover!
This baby floor mat is made with babies in mind, but I’m using it for my grandson who has special needs. For sitting in the floor for playtime – listing to music, reading, etc, his mom usually puts a blanket in the floor. So I saw this and thought I’d get it. I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality and especially the super soft, washable cotton muslin cover. The removable cover fits perfectly over the foam mat – which is about less than a half inch thick. The cover has extended corner covers on the back to ensure the cover stays in place on the mat. The mat is big enough for both of us to sit comfortably. I got the taupe cover – not a huge fan of the color, but that’s just my preference.

Functional yes, but not particularly attractive
This is a perfectly reasonable mat to use on the floor, or really any surface with which an infant may be placed. I had intended it as a floor piece for our family room as we sat on the floor interacting with our grandchild. It will more likely be used in the bedroom or in the car as an easy to transport safe covering for baby to rest on.The mat itself seems well constructed though there was a slight odor upon opening. I would definitely wash and air out before use. The stitching and quality of workmanship is acceptable and the feel of the mat is soft and welcoming. Nice changing table optionThere wasn’t much of a color selection and none of the options were particularly exciting- not that they need to be. Some may prefer the more bland neutral choices.In my opinion this is a useful option to have on hand for the many many many times you will find yourself needing to set your baby down on something comfortable and clean!!

Soft, comfortable, and easy cleanup.
The mat is thick and comfortable, providing a soft, cushioned surface for my baby to play on. The size is perfect and gives them plenty of room to move around, and will still provide plenty of space as they grow. I love that the cotton muslin cover is detachable and machine washable, it makes cleaning up spills and messes so much easier. You can just remove it and wash it, instead of having to carefully wash a foam mat. It is foldable and can easily be stored away for later use. I have hardwood floors, so this gives a safe area for my baby to enjoy. I do wish it came with a cute design or more colors to choose from. While it is a nice playmat, the price is a bit steep compared to other playmats with the same or similar features.
