White noise that actually works!
Amazing product that produces a natural sounding “wind” without a bunch of extra mechanical noises. White noise apps don’t work for me, but this does! Has definitely improved my sleep, especially on the road. Got one for the house, then had to have one that traveled as well – the travel case is a great help to keep it protected.

Sleep despite ottosclerosis, FINALLY!
I suffer from ottosclerosis, (where my otto folks at!? 🙋♀️) and have 30% hearing loss (not bad!) But the side effect of hearing loss is NOISE (ringing, beeping, and all sorts of sounds in my ears all the time made worse in quiet environments like at night when going to sleep), and the ottosclerosis causes sounds to be distorted. This is the best sound machine I have tried and I have tried so many! I had been using a fan for years, but the whine of the motor bothered me. I tried electronic sound machines and my weird ears can hear all sorts of distortion and under tones. I finally decided to try this dohm machine. Many reviews say they are too quiet, but I find it extremely LOUD! Maybe the difference is that I live in the country down a dirt road and I am trying to drown out the silence, not cover up sound. Anyway, I ended up putting it in my closet and cracking the door. It is the most perfect “wooshing” sound. No whine from the motor, no variation, just a constant whooshing. I had originally bought the dohm version with the 2 speeds, but the twistable shell part rattled and the switch sparked whenever I turned it on! I returned that one and got this most basic model with just the on/off switch and it is so perfect 🤌

Great tried, true and proven design…with a new weakness.
Perfectly Not So Perfect! Ordered it in a 120v 60hz version. I’m stationed in a place that uses that voltage and frequency in a controlled electrical environment. I’ve used this type for over 30 years in different environments. My new unit did the job “Perfectly”, drowning out the appropriate sounds so that I could sleep. It is a proven design that uses a perfectly designed housing, aluminum fan and a shaded pole motor…so it seemed. After two months of use, it gave up the ghost. I was speechless. I even checked out our power history to make sure the device got what it needed. It did. Knowing that I couldn’t send it back. (We only receive stuff and can’t send it back) I decided to do a root cause analysis and found the deficiency in the motor. Specifically the winding. (I used to design these shaded pole motors). I was also disappointed to find that the motor wasn’t 60/50 hertz rated. ( even though it could actually do so with about a 20% theoretically rotational speed loss.) Anyway, I digress. It could be that I just received a bad motor…but I’m more prone to believe that this isn’t the first time that they have heard of this problem. Common folks! Shaded pole motors aren’t that expensive. Could you come up with a dual voltageModel? It would make it a lot easier on us folks that rely on your product as we fix things around the world. Just a thought. Do I stillThink you have a great product? Yes! Could you improve on the QA of your tier one supplier? Absolutely. Sorry to give you a 1 star rating, but you’ve let me down…and I’m disappointed.

Really enjoy this
I got this for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift (and also myself) and it works really well. I typically have a very large and loud fan in my room at night, and I feel like the sound output of this is nice. It’s definitely not as loud as a box fan, but if you put it on your nightstand it really works. It drowns out the sounds of the highway right above us very well and since it’s a real fan there’s no loop sound. Some people have mentioned a weird ringing noise but I have not had that experience.

Great quality soundmaker that gets the job done. Small size but still packs a powerful volume and you are able to easily adjust this volume. It will instantly improve your sleep quality (but you will never be able to sleep without it!).

Sleep well
Good sound machine. Works like expected, except the sound it makes is not for everyone. I like the “brown, white” noise, but my husband does not appreciate it. Could be is that i have it set to loud sound!

We use this in every bedroom. It’s just white noise that blocks out sound, so you can sleep or have conversations with your Doctor, etc.

Just as good as my old one. Bought this as a replacement for my 10+ year old Original version in which the fan was starting to rattle. I hope to enjoy this new one for many more years! It perfectly drowns out background noises and helps me to sleep soundly. I even travel with it and it’s especially helpful in hotels!
